Optimizing Benefits for a Leading Oklahoma Youth Organization

Summit’s tailored approach can reduce costs while enhancing benefits and strengthening financial stability for mission-driven organizations.

THE CHALLENGE:

A prominent Oklahoma-based organization, known for supporting hundreds of youth across the state through agricultural and livestock events, sought a competitive and cost- effective health insurance solution.

With a small but dedicated team, they needed a plan that balanced affordability with quality coverage—without sacrificing financial stability. As renewal time approached, they explored alternatives that could provide long-term savings while maintaining access to a strong network of providers.

That’s when they turned to Summit Financial Group to explore an innovative new option: Chamber Care.

WHAT WE DID:

Our team worked closely with the organization to assess their current coverage and explore cost-saving opportunities. With only six employees—three of whom remained on their parents’ plans—the organization needed a cost-effective solution that wouldn’t compromise quality.

Unlike many larger firms that rely on standard offerings, Summit takes the time to understand its clients and uncover specialized options that others often overlook.

One such solution was Chamber Care, an exclusive self- funded insurance plan available through the Oklahoma State Chamber of Commerce. As one of only eight agencies in the state authorized to offer Chamber Care, Summit provided access to a plan that many brokers were unaware of—one that offered identical structures to traditional Blue Cross plans while leveraging underwriting advantages.

THE RESULT:

The organization achieved a 6% reduction in premiums, even before receiving a renewal quote from their previous carrier.

This immediate savings met their financial goals while ensuring employees continued to receive high-quality coverage. Summit’s ability to identify and implement this solution reinforced its commitment to delivering strategic benefits plans tailored to local businesses of all sizes.
