John Locher

John Locher is an Employee Benefits Consultant with Summit and has been licensed and active in the Insurance and Employee Benefits business since 1995. John founded a benefits firm in 1999 working with governmental and non-profit organizations across the state of Oklahoma and expanded his benefits experience to the private sector, specializing in providing services for large group employers. He joined Summit in 2017 because there was a shared vision to better serve clients in a more expansive and comprehensive manner. As an innovator and entrepreneur at heart, John works closely with businesses in a consultative approach to solve problems and bring solutions to the table in a meaningful and proactive manner. 

John was the founding principle of Any Time Docs, LLC in 2015, a telemedicine solution, providing access and opportunities for employers to save claim costs and increase employee engagement. In 2017, Any Time Docs, LLC merged with NetCare Now and John successfully organized strategic discussions and negotiations with key providers representing Aetna, VSP and Wal-Mart.  John now focuses 100% of his time working directly with business owners, CFOs and HR professionals providing solutions to the increasing challenges they face administering and funding their health and welfare plans. While providing risk mitigation and cost containment solutions, John is hyper focused on tackling and creating viable pharmacy solutions for the self-funded plans he serves. 

He is a high energy individual who, as a value based and principled driven leader, has a unique gift of connecting with people and connecting people with other people through his extensive network of valued relationships across many industries.

John is a graduate of Oral Roberts University, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. He is certified through the Oklahoma State University Riata School of Entrepreneurship. Forever the student, he is continually working to grow his knowledge, expertise, and designations. He is actively involved in his community, Boy Scouts, local church, coaching his kid’s sports teams and active in several industry associations. 

John and his wife have been married over 24 years and are blessed with two teenage children, son and daughter. In his spare time, he loves traveling (in over 30 countries) and spending time with his beautiful wife and children, and serving his community.
